Teaching part of the Bathysmed protocol in the pool interests you, you can move towards the Bathysmed Initiator level, open from the level Encadrant 1 (E1)
Training Prerequisites
The trainee must have, before entering the training, the “minimum” level as follows:
Encadrant E1 (as stipulated in Appendix III.15B of Article A-322-74 of the Sports Code, underwater diving section).
Encadrants from other foreign organizations are accepted in training according to their registration file.
Training Objectives
This training will allow you to:
- To teach level 1 diver of the Bathysmed curriculum in “health and prevention” in a pool or diving pit not exceeding 6m.
- For E3 instructors (BEES1 or DEJEPS) or E3 (MF1 able to prove more than 2 years of teaching), possibility to teach level 1 Bathysmed diver in natural environment up to 6m.
- Analyze classical practitioners from a more relevant perspective and improve the pedagogical approach in diving.
Training Program
The training takes place in several modules
- Module 1: Administrative and presentation of the course
- Module 2: Physiology of stress and stress management in diving
- Module 3: Theory and simple techniques of Sophrology
- Module 4: Basics of General and sports Psychology adapted
- Module 5: Diving technique and pedagogy BTY at the level of diver 1
Financing and Rates
According to your status and the possibility of support:
- For personal financing: for the 2 days of training (INIT BTY): PRICE: 790€
- As part of professional training (period of professionalization, training plan), External financing: Add 100€ for registration fees
Bathysmed can assist the trainee or their structure in preparing the file with the OPCA.
